What is merchant navy, how many department on  ship Rank and thier work (OPEN CDC HOLDER)

First of all we will know about definition of merchant navy this important topic for new comers like open CDC candidate and gp rating person. 

What is merchant navy ?

Merchant navy deal with transporting cargo and occasionally passengers by sea its has different fleet composed of PASSENGERS VESSEL cargo liner, tankers, bulk carrier,  car carrier,  container,  dredger,  SUPPLY VESSEL,  tug boat, cruise line, as well as the other spectal type of vessels. 

The merchant navy career option mainly includes the following category 

1. Deck department officer(navigation officer)

2. Engine department officer(marine engineer)

3. Crew members (to assist the officers like gp rating crew or open CDC CANDIDATES)

4.Specialzied officer (ETO Electrical officer,  radio officer, etc.)

👉 Shipping companies offer these positions on contract for A period of 6 to 9 month after finishing the contract period the officers can enjoy leave & whenever they want to join back. The company will absorb them immediately,  Presently demand for marine engineers & deck OFFICER  

Are high world wide . The shipping companies are facing great shortages for the deck & engine OFFICER Hence the trained person are getting immediate job opportunities all over the world .

Deck department Responsibilities:-

They are responsible for the navigation of the ship the loading / discharge of cargo radio communications and the control / safety  of the crew and passengers.  The chief navigator if the ship is master(CAPTAIN) who decides  the course of the VESSEL,  he exercise crew and any control level one will be promoted to CAPTAIN of the ship with proper sea experience & further exam (it's too hard but not more hard 😊)

CAPTAIN rank is more respected and responsible rank so never judge a CAPTAIN 🚩

Engine department officer(marine engineer) Responsibilities:- 

The ship's engineer have complete responsibility of the ship engine room I.e the main engine boiler, pumps, hydraulic fuel, systems the ship's electrical generating plant and distribution systems from the trainee engineering officer level one will be promoted to chief engineer and further exam .

the GP RATING crew involve with all kind of the day to day activities to assist either to CHIEF OFFICER in deck side or second engineer in engine side,. One can get promotion from gp crew position  to CAPTAIN level or CHIEF engineer level with proper exam and sea experience 

The catering crew will perform the food preparation and kitchen activities.  The specialized FITTER &welders are very much needed for various type of VESSEL

BAD PART OF MERCHANT NAVY 

Now days some fucking company and agent making fool to open CDC CANDIDATES and cheated their hard earn money name of placment. But they didn't get job and most of fresher CANDIDATES lost their money this is sad part of SEAMAN life 

Lack of proper knowledge and without proper cource never join merchant navy bcoz of that success not have any any short cut.

Fraud agent main aim and target fresher candidate bcoz of that then can easily fall down in thier plan and so they can cheat your money easily. 

Pls join a good rpsl company direct never give money to agent before JOINING
